LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA - Jordan continues to steadily improve, arguably playing some of his best golf since turning professional. Jordan was able to use rounds of one over par 73 and four under par 68 to finish at three under par for the tournament. The tournament took place at Skylinks Golf Course in Long Beach, California. The first round saw the end of Jordan's three putt streak as he three putt his second hole of the day. However, Jordan's putting continues to be the strongest part of his game as he had only 28 putts on the day. Jordan was three under par with two holes to play but bogeyed the 17th and triple bogeyed the 18th to finish the day one over par. Jordan continued his good play in the second round firing a four under par 68. After starting the day with bogeys on the second and third hole Jordan got back to even with an eagle on his sixth hole and didn't stop there. Jordan made four more birdies without recording another bogey to fire his first under par round as a pro. Strong putting was the key to his success as he recorded only 27 putts on the day.
A recent lesson with PGA instructor Chris Walkey at The Palms Golf Club in La Quinta, California made Jordan aware of some flaws in his swing. Iron play will be the biggest key to take his game to the next level. Chris Walkey is also the inventor of power package golf. Power package golf is a device used by many PGA Tour players to get the club on plane and in a good position consistently. More information on the product can be found at powerpackagegolf.com
Jordan will stay in Southern California to compete in the final Advocates Tour event of the year at Chester Washington Golf Course in Los Angeles, California. Jordan is going to continue to improve and build momentum going into the latter part of the 2018 season.
