MCKINNEY, TEXAS - On June 24th and 25th, Jordan returned to TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas to compete on the Advocates Tour. This was his first time competing in Texas since July of last year when he played in his very first Advocates Tour event on the same course. While the course layout had not changed, the tour decided to play the course as a par 71 with 3 Par 5's rather than the previous year where par was 72. Jordan used rounds of 4 over par 75 and 1 under par 70 to finish in 24th Place and improve on his 2018 finish by 5 strokes. Jordan's game is starting to trend in the right direction as 3 of his last 5 competitive rounds have been under par. Had it not been for a tough stretch of holes in his first round on day 1, Jordan may have put together one of his best professional rounds to date. Jordan continues to play the Par 5's well. He birdied all 3 on day 1 and 2 of the 3 on day 2. His second round was highlighted by a near hole out on a 25 yard flop shot over a green side bunker to within inches of the hole.
Jordan's experience at TPC Craig Ranch may prove to be valuable down the road as the course plays host to the second stage of qualifying school for the Kornferry Tour, the pathway to the PGA Tour. The Tom Weiskopf designed golf course is one of the top rated golf courses in all of Texas. Jordan's scorecards are attached below.
