J.Bo Wins his First Pro Event!

Updated: Aug 21, 2019

CANTON TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN - Jordan picked up his FIRST win as a professional golfer in only his third professional tournament at the Pheasant Run Open. The event took place at Pheasant Run Golf Club in Canton Township, Michigan. Jordan was in a battle all day going from under par, to over par, and eventually finishing the day with an even par 72. Jordan birdied every par 5 he played. His putter continues to be the rock of his game as he has now pushed his streak of holes without a three putt to 72.

Jordan was able to use experience and lessons learned in previous tournaments to improve his decision making in many situations throughout his round. If there was an area where Jordan struggled it was with his chipping and pitching. Jordan made the change from carrying three wedges to carrying four wedges and will need more practice with them. He made mistakes that cost him three bogeys. He will work on his wedge play big time in the coming weeks.

Jordan will now prepare for two events in Southern California on the Advocates Tour next week. Jordan is on a mission to improve his iron play. Jordan believes that this event will give him momentum going forward. His goal is simple: Reach his full potential and not stop until he gets there!
